Foxdog Studios est un excentrique duo de consultants en informatique et de programmateurs experts en création d’expositions interactives. Ils créent des spectacles comiques où ils confient le contrôle de jeux et de gadgets do it yourself au public. Après le foudroyant succès de sa dernière prestation, Robot Chef, au Fringe d’Édimbourg, le duo a pensé une version numérique de cette même performance. Robot Chef est un extravagant jeu vidéo augmenté. Dans le cadre de cette proposition, les deux créateurs inviteront le public à, entre autres, créer un avatar, diriger des robots, allumer un four, manipuler une torche au butane et utiliser un canon à saucisses, le tout à distance. Robot Chef a été nommé meilleur spectacle au Leicester Comedy Festival en 2019.

Biographie

FOXDOG STUDIOS
Nous avons pu les voir au Chanel 4 UK et dans la revue WIRED UK, ainsi qu’entendu à la BBC Radio. Ils ont été en nomination pour la meilleure performance au Fringe 2018. Ils ont remporté le prix du meilleur spectacle au Leicester Comedy Festival 2019, le Chortle Award for Innovation 2016 et deux Malcolm Hardee Awards en 2016.

Robot Chef
Foxdog Studios is an eccentric duo of computer consultants and programmers who are experts in creating live interactive exhibitions. They create comical shows that give the audience control over interactive games and « Do it Yourself » gadgets. After the overwhelming success of their latest show, Robot Chef, at the Edinburgh Fringe, the duo created a digital version of that same performance. Robot Chef is an extravagant boosted video game. As part of the performance, the two creators invite the audience to create an avatar, control robots, start an oven, handle a butane torch and use a sausage cannon, among other things – and it all happens from a distance. Robot Chef was named Best Performance at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2019.
